Engine Drivers for Steam Locomotives
The Engine Drivers are wearing the black uniforms and black caps typical of the time. Since work on the so-called ‘iron horses’ was very dusty and sooty, practical black work clothes were provided. The Engine Drivers are standing in typical poses and they can be used in pairs. One engine driver stands on the right in the driver’s cab, rests his arm on the window and looks out. The engine driver on the left operates the controls. Unmanned locomotives on model railway layouts are unattractive and unrealistic. Steam locomotives can be decorated realistically with the Engine Drivers.
The set contains six handpainted plastic figures for N gauge (1:160 scale, approx. 1.1 cm high).
