Invisible Base for Flexible Painting and Weathering Effects
With the AMMO Rail Center Transparent Primer, you can create an even base for subsequent painting and weathering without changing the original colour of the surface underneath. The transparent finish is particularly useful when the existing colour or surface appearance should remain visible while still providing a suitable foundation for further modelling steps.
The Primer is self-levelling and water-based, helping it spread evenly across the surface and form a clean base for further painting and weathering layers. After 24 hours, the Primer is fully cured and ready for further work. No prior thinning is required.
Thanks to the practical drip cap, the Transparent Primer can be dispensed precisely and applied conveniently. It is especially versatile for models that already have a suitable base colour or where the existing tones should not be altered by an additional opaque primer layer.
In addition to Transparent, the AMMO Rail Center range also includes Primers in White, Black, Grey, Brown Oxide and Sand, allowing you to choose the base that best suits the individual model and the intended finishing effect.
