The "Model of the Year" award is presented annually at the Spielwarenmesse and - if the award-winning manufacturers are present - handed over at the fair. The award relates to outstanding products of the past year from all branches of static model making.
In awarding the prize to NOCH, the editors did not want to single out any particular product from the Laser-Cut minis series; rather, the award applies to the entire series of Laser-Cuts minis models that have appeared to date. The editors are convinced that all varieties are equally carefully executed and versatilely usable in other scales as well.
