Clean Rails for Reliable Operation
With the NOCH Rail Cleaning Pen, you can quickly and precisely clean rail profiles and support reliable current transmission on your model railway. The special cleaning fluid removes dirt from the rails while also improving electrical conductivity. This helps to reduce contact problems and supports smoother, more reliable train operation.
The 16 x 10 mm felt tip makes the Rail Cleaning Pen particularly versatile. On larger gauges from H0 upwards, each rail profile can be cleaned individually either lengthways or crossways. On N gauge and smaller gauges, the pen is used across the rails so that both profiles can be cleaned at the same time. It is suitable for both DC and AC track systems.
The pen can also be used beyond conventional model railways. It is suitable for cleaning the contact rails of slot-car tracks, where removing dirt and improving current transmission can help reduce jerky running and unnecessary power loss. After use, the pen can be securely closed to help protect the felt tip from drying out.
For regular track maintenance, the Rail Cleaning Pen can be complemented with NOCH Cleaning Pads or the NOCH Track Cleaning Block.
