Dear model building friends,

2026 is a very special year for NOCH – we are celebrating a true double anniversary! Founded in 1911, the company turns 115 years old this year. At the same time, we are proud to celebrate another important milestone: NOCH has been headquartered in Wangen im Allgäu for 65 years. We are both proud and deeply grateful for the many wonderful years we have shared with our partners and customers.

What can you look forward to on June 12 and 13 in Wangen?

Look forward to two special days filled with inspiration, exclusive insights, and a true anniversary atmosphere. Join one of our guided factory tours and take a look behind the scenes to see how our products are created with passion and precision during live production.

You can also discover exciting new products and fascinating miniature worlds that invite you to marvel and explore. In addition, our exhibition area, special sales, and flea market tent offer plenty of opportunities to browse, connect with fellow enthusiasts, and uncover unique treasures.

What will be offered?

During our Open House days, a varied program awaits the whole family. Look forward to exciting hands-on activities where you can experience the fascination of model building for yourself. Our popular ride-on train delights both young and old visitors alike, while the selfie point offers the perfect opportunity to capture special moments. Many additional highlights round off the program and ensure a truly entertaining and memorable experience.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to explore our impressive exhibition layouts on site. Immerse yourself in richly detailed miniature worlds and be inspired by their variety and precision. A very special highlight will be presented by MEC Bregenz with their layout “Westrampe der Arlbergbahn.” Covering an area of around 20 square meters, this true masterpiece is sure to make every model railway enthusiast’s heart beat faster

Of course, your culinary well-being will also be well taken care of. Look forward to enjoyable breaks and a welcoming atmosphere – the perfect setting for two unforgettable days in Wangen im Allgäu.

How to get there :

You can easily arrive by train, in keeping with the occasion. Wangen (Allgäu) station is only about a 10-minute walk away. Alternatively, you can take the bus to the “Lindauer Str./Wohnp. v. Maril” stop, which is located very close to the venue.

If you are arriving by car, simply drive to Wangen im Allgäu (Plz. 88239) and follow the signs towards the town centre.

Parking :
Various parking options are available around the venue. Parking spaces can be found, for example, at the Landesgartenschau car park (Lindauer Straße 103, 88239 Wangen), at the E-Center (Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 29, 88239 Wangen) , and opposite the former motorhome parking area (Südring, 88239 Wangen) . Additional parking is available behind the railway embankment near the Vogel bakery (Lindauer Str. 43, 88239 Wangen).

Parking spaces directly on the premises are available for guests with disabilities. We kindly ask that these be requested in advance (by phone or by email) so that suitable spaces can be reserved.

Information for electric vehicle drivers:
For guests travelling with electric vehicles, several charging options are available nearby. Charging stations can be found close to the district office (Liebigstraße 1 , 88239 Wangen) as well as at the public charging points in the E-Center car park (Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 29, 88239 Wangen).

Accommodation options:

For guests arriving by motorhome, suitable pitches are also available in Wangen im Allgäu. Motorhome parking spaces can be found, for example, at Stallbesen and in the Röhrenmoos area, both of which offer a convenient and uncomplicated option for staying overnight nearby with your camper.

Those who prefer to stay in a hotel will find several comfortable accommodation options in Wangen im Allgäu. These include the 4K Hotel, Hotel Reos, the centrally located Mohrenpost, and the family-friendly JUFA Hotel. All four hotels are located in Wangen and are easily accessible from the venue.

There are also further lovely accommodation options in the surrounding area. Recommended choices include Hotel Farny and the Allgäu Hotel Elgass in Eglofs, both of which are located just outside Wangen and offer a peaceful setting in the Allgäu region.

We recommend booking your accommodation early, as the region is especially busy with visitors during the summer months.
