Create wild meadows with different colours and lengths of grass!
The range of grasses with different colour tones and heights of growth in nature can also be realised without any problems in a model. To achieve the most realistic image possible and a natural course of colours and lengths, work the various grass fibres into the landscape one after the other.
To prevent
light-coloured substrates such as plaster or wood from showing through, the
area to be grassed is pre-coloured. After drying, the grass adhesive can be
applied. The first grass layer consists of the "Scatter Grass meadow" in a
length of 4 mm. This is now applied with the NOCH Grass Master. The alligator
clip must be held or fastened close to the surface during this process. After
three to four hours, surfaces such as paths can be vacuumed. However, complete
drying of the adhesive takes 24 hours. For the second layer of grass, mix the "Scatter
Grass medium green" and the "Scatter Grass beige" in a length of 2.5 and 4 mm.
In this way, you will ensure a realistic result.
Here, the
short tips are partially coated with grass glue. It is best to use a dry brush
and only a small amount of grass glue. Now you can grass the area again. The
third grassing layer is applied with the "Wild Grass light green". Again,
selected areas are painted with the grass glue and then grassed over. For the
fourth layer, the "Scatter Grass beige" and the "Scatter Grass meadow" in a
length of 4 mm are mixed and then, like the two previous layers, only partially
applied. The process of applying the grass can be repeated as often as desired
for an even wilder-looking vegetation. At last, you can finalize the basic grassing
with trees and bushes
