The PROXXON fine milling bit set made of choice tungsten vanadium steel. Practical and stable construction. Shaft and milling part made from a single piece of metal. Precisely ground teeth and precise concentricity with simultaneous elasticity. For machining softwood and hardwood, non-ferrous metals, precious metals, plastic and plaster. Optimal for finishing, shaping, profiling and grooving. Optimum cutting speeds depend on the diameter of the respective milling cutter and the material to be machined. The larger the milling bit, the lower the rotational speed must be. The following applies to the material to be machined: soft material = high speed, hard material = low speed. Plastic is an exception. We recommend using MICROMOT steel collets to clamp the milling cutters neatly and powerfully.
