New items of the month - January & February!

In the new ATHEARN Update - January & February 2026 we present some new products in the H0 and N gauges. The update includes some highlights from Athearn-, Genesis- and Roundhouse-line.
Starting in 2026, ATHEARN will be changing its announcement and ordering schedule: new products every 60 days – giving you more time to view the models and pre-order them from your specialist dealer in good time.

In 2026, special models commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States and the 80th anniversary of ATHEARN will be available!

  • Special SD40-2 model commemorating the 250th anniversary!
    The Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway Company operates a fleet of SD40-2 locomotives on its 840-mile network. Recently, one locomotive was given a special paint scheme to commemorate the upcoming celebration of the nation's 250th anniversary of independence. Now available for pre-order as an ATHEARN model!
