If you dream of a model railroad but have little time and space or want to learn the craftsmanship first, you do not have to do without your layout: At NOCH, you'll find a wide selection of prefabricated terrain delivered right to your door thanks to our complimentary home delivery service!
The delivery form: NOCH prefabricated layouts can be set up in a short time without any special knowledge because they are already ready to use ex-works: The "landscape", a plastic moulded plastic model that is mounted on a sturdy wooden frame, is designed true-to-life in colour, painted and grassed. Tunnel portals and side mounting openings are milled out, and the tunnel bases are cut to fit. Many terrains also come with a complete bridge kit. Track plans are also included, but you can also download them free of charge from the respective prefabricated landscape.
The layout: On YouTube and in the respective product detail, you will learn everything you need to know about the construction and expansion of a NOCH prefabricated terrain. When laying track, the track plans (included) will help, showing the model railroad track layout and providing information about digital wiring and electrical connections. We have compiled the accessories in a unique parts list for the most lifelike decoration of your design. However, this list is only a recommendation; you can, of course, select the equipment according to your wishes.
The expansion possibilities: Even if you want to "expand" your lanscape, this is no problem. Almost all NOCH prefabricated terrain conforms to a particular NOCH standardization in track layout and transitions. This means: You choose from our wide range of add-on parts that you like best or combine several prefabricated terrains. This way, you can expand to the left, right, front and (with the NOCH staging yard system) downward. And if the finished layout is temporarily not in use, the "lightweight" can be easily transported and stored standing upright. Note: Mixed radii are installed on all NOCH finished layouts. Track with the smallest radius one is used in both the inner and outer circles. This can lead to problems when using long trains and wagons. For example, trains or wagons can strike bridge railings or tunnel portals. Therefore, please observe the minimum radius specifications of the manufacturer for your vehicles.
