Finished Bridge Model, made of Structure Hard Foam
Details Viaduct "Ravenna"
Bridge over Deep Valleys!
The Viaduct »Ravenna« in the Black Forest’s Höllental (Hell Valley) is surely one of the most impressive railway bridges. The original viaduct with nine arches and an arch span of 20 m was constructed between 1926 and 1928. The model of this unique bridge construction is modular. This allows any hobby modeller to adapt it precisely to their own model railway layout’s features. The Viaduct (ref. 58675) consists of one bridge with three bridge piers. In order to extend the viaduct and to make its assembly into the landscape easier, the Bridge Arch (ref. 58677) as well as the Bridge Pier (ref. 58676) are available individually. The entire bridge construction is made of the popular NOCH Structure Hard Foam, which makes processing and adapting very easy: NOCH Structure Hard Foam is stable and nevertheless very lightweight. It can be shaped with a crafting knife, saw, file or sand paper.

How-to-tip Viaduct "Ravenna"
The straight Quarrystone Viaduct (ref. 58660, ref. 34860), the curved Quarrystone Viaduct (ref. 58664, ref. 58665) and the Viaduct »Rhône« (ref. 58670) can be combined with one another at will.
You can connect the individual bridge elements with any adhesive (including those containing solvents). If required, the bridges, or the bridge heads can be shortened with a crafting knife or with a fine saw. Subsequent detail work can be done with sand paper or with a file. The Harfoam Series »Quarrystone Wall« has the same stone structure as the bridge models made out of Structure Hardfoam. Use this Series' products in order to create matching walls and tunnels.
