Diverse wall slabs
Even with walls and arcades that you design in the model, it often helps to consider where walls are located in nature for a realistic-looking placement. As with tunnels and bridges, the following applies: First there was nature, then man came and built the wall. This means that they always serve a certain purpose. Some walls, for example, hold slopes behind them so that roads or railways can run unhindered through a landscape. Arcades, for example, protect them from falling rocks by means of a roof. Other walls are built to overcome differences in height, e.g. for bridge approaches or subways. The material used is at least as varied as the purpose. The NOCH wall panels made of embossed cardboard are an inexpensive alternative to the NOCH walls and arcades made of structural hard foam. The embossed wall panels are photo-realistic. The embossing gives them a textured surface. The cardboard can be cut with scissors and is easy to glue.
